How Do Cleaning Hp Laser Jet Mfp M477
On a single users HP Color LaserJet MFP M477fdn, he has gotten a jam that I tin't seem to clear or detect a way to go to it. I'm guessing I'thousand going to have to remove something to get to it:
Any suggestions before I just start unscrewing sections to get to it?

Forgot to mention...been doing that...unremarkably have little pressure and patience and this sheet of paper is REALLY in there...I'll keep trying but it is tearing more I want.

In photo 2, I think that whole white section drops downwards to clear jams. I dont have that model so I am non sure.
take everything out that does not have screws starting time. in one case you start with the screws, it can go out of hand fast.
Near of these printers take a release along the rail that is but a lever.
You can as well push the feed roller by hand in order to go the newspaper to movement along in either management (frontwards backwards).
In any case you are going to be vehement the paper, simply use the built in feed rollers to assist move information technology along.

If yous commencement with screws, unscrew the plate on the right side of the printer motion picture first (three screws). I believe the unabridged tray tin can then exist removed.
I had one of these and I kept repeating "why does it say paper jam when at that place is no paper jam". Tried needle olfactory organ, but eventually ended up using the rollers back and along to create a thick spot I could stab my sharp bent tweezers into and pull while rolling out. Got it cleared that way. But now I take one of these in another office that says offline for different users at different times, so I'm thinking the bat volition be my next tool.

Remove the newspaper tray and cartridges. If the printer has the internal duplex tray that drops down, drop it downwardly. turn the printer on it's side and this will give yous access to the paper path. Use a piece of cardstock or thin mylar to put the paper out from the bottom and out the back. Due to the number of weird springs I would recommend not removing anything from the back door. You can remove the transfer belt on this printer simply that is all washed from the front. Find a manual if you are going to remove the transfer chugalug. Feedroller.com ordinarily has most manuals posted. PM me if you lot need further data.
Edit: I was only seeing one motion picture at first. The duplex tray I am taking about is the white tray in picture 2. Besides note, when you lot remove the cartrirdges, cover the exposed drums with something calorie-free proof to avert desensitizing the drums.

Aye, await for a drop down tray. I tore a similar unit downward a couple weeks ago, downloaded the service manual, etc. Got 2 hours into it when I realized in that location was no disassembly required and I could have pulled the newspaper tray, pulled a tab, and dropped some other sheet metal tray downward and removed it. Skillful luck!
For now, carefully using needle nose pliers did the trick. That said, I did have to rip it some to get information technology to move. Thanks for the many helpful suggestions.
If you open the paper tray there is a green push on the left side that will release the white section shown in picture 2. The jam is easily removed after that.
